Women are taught most of our lives that being a “bitch” is a bad thing, something to never aspire to. But I disagree. Being called a “bitch” only tells me that you feel threatened by me, and in response you use a word that is supposed to demonize me as a woman. In reality, all you have done is confirm my power.

So now, when someone calls me a “bitch”, I smile and say, “Thank you”.
